Ever since I committed my life to Jesus, at the age of 13, I have been trying (imperfectly!) to follow, trust and walk closely with Jesus. That adventure has taken me into many situations and positions of leadership within church and Christian communities, which have changed me, challenged me and helped to grow my faith. Using any platform I have to advance the good news of Jesus and to encourage other Christians in their walk with him brings me joy - no pun intended!
I can't tell you the date that I was born again - I don't remember not knowing and feeling known by God. However, my baptism in water and later in the Spirit as a teen marked a BOOM moment in my life when a lot changed. Over 20 years later with various jobs, marriage, kids, a church plant , great friends, a bit of running and reading, and my love for him has grown. I've definitely experienced some refining with some painful and happy lessons learned!
